Today was beyond amazing! You have made my time student teaching SO incredibly enjoyable. I am going to miss each and every one of you. Thank you for your kind words, your thoughtful gifts, and taking the time to enjoy your teachers!!! I will try to keep the blog updated, especially on things happening on my end. I wish you all the best!!! You have made my teaching experience absolutely wonderful!

Finishing the 50 states/capitals

Our unit on the 50 states and capitals is coming to an end. This was our final day to do research for our Google Earth projects and review the states and capitals.

As you can see, we had fun!

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I just wanted to tell you what a great job you've done on your Google Earth Projects!!! I have been very impressed reading all of the wonderful research that you completed. We will finish all of our presentations this week. Keep up the great work!!!

Monday is "Dress to support your favorite state" day!

On Monday (April 30, 2012) don't forget to dress in clothes that show which of the 50 states is your favorite!

You have worked very hard during our 50 states unit. It's now coming to an end... what better way to end our unit than to dress up to show which state is our favorite!!!

You can wear a jersey, a shirt, an outfit, a hat, or possibly do something like put flowers in your hair if Hawaii was your favorite state (just an idea!).

Remember, you may wear a hat, but only in our classroom.

Be creative and show us which state you love the most!!!
